英検1級の二次面接用に、理由2つです。
イントロ
Religion has been dominant throughout the world in various fields, such as culture and literature. Despite opposition, I firmly believe that people can have strong moral values without religion for the following two reasons.
理由1 = 宗教以外のもの（教育や常識的なこと）が倫理的価値を作る
To begin with, elements other than religion can contribute to forming moral values. Moral values often include concepts such as honesty, integrity, and respect for others. These are also held among people who are less religious. In Japan, for instance, common sense and education in schools, communities, and families play a vital role in fostering such values among individuals.
理由2 = ネットからの情報で判断
Moreover, religion does not necessarily serve to form moral values nowadays. As information technology, including the internet, has impacted people around the world, increased knowledge and a variety of experiences can help foster moral values. For instance, people determine that what parents or priests say is not necessarily morally right while witnessing the facts through social media.
結論
In conclusion, based on the aforementioned reasons, I think that ordinary citizens can hold moral values without relying on religion.
